Memorial Day!

It's the day we remember those who have fought for our freedom and perished whether in battle or in peace. So what do we do?...... SWIM!! and eat hot dogs. Just like every other holiday, things are celebrated a little different here in the 21st century. If it wasn't for those brave and strong enough, from the time this country was founded and still even today, in the midst of a war, we wouldn't be enjoying the finer things in life. I am truly grateful to these wonderful people who sacrifice so much so that we don't have to. How lucky are we to know so many who have dedicated their lives in that service. Thank you Thank you for all that you have done and continue to do.
Now for an update on how we spent that holiday. We haven't been over to see the Kasten's in so long, so we thought, hey, it's Summer Time, (or it was supposed to be) and they have a pool, let's go visit with them. In the history of Arizona, I don't think there has ever been an 85 degree Memorial Day, or raining on Graduations. We've always been sweltering in 110 or more. So of course for the first real swim of the season for us, the water was a frigid, 75. So here are some of the goofin around pictures, and a video of Kirk braving the cold. Hee Hee
